Cyrillic letters compared to latin letters
Hi everybody!
We face a problem with our Cyrillic letters in Articulate Rise and maybe you can help us with this.
We used the font Roboto in our projects and uploaded a font package with Cyrillic letters.
Somehow they don’t look like the Roboto letters – they have serifs and are smaller compared to the latin letters of the same font.
We also tried is with Arial and we have the same issue. It even seems that Cyrillic fonts always look the same. Is there maybe a default cyrillic font that Rise uses?
We highly appreciate any suggestions or help :)
Hello, Digital Learning! We have this solution for using non-latin characters in your Rise 360 course. If you're still not seeing exactly what you'd expect, check out this discussion for some additional tips.
We'll let you know here if we make any changes to custom or cyrillic fonts in Rise 360!

Hi Crystal,
thank you very much for your response!
The discussion about Macrons was exactly what we needed and the instructions there helped us to generate a font with the same look of cyrillic letters than latin letters.
Perfect!! :)
So glad to hear that helped! :)

Hi Everyone,
We have received a project to convert SL2 into SL360. While upgrading the source files, popups missing font 'Articulate CYR'. Could you please help and suggest from where we should get this font.
Hey there, Mohit!
Thank you for reaching out. Articulate CYR isn't a font that is automatically installed in Storyline 360, but let's see if it's on your computer:
Simply head over to the Windows Control Panel and then click Appearance and Personalization > Fonts. Do you see the fonts listed there?
If that doesn't help, we're happy to work closely with you in finding this font. Use this link to connect with us.
Hi everyone! If you're using Roboto or Open Sans fonts in your courses, we've just updated those fonts to the latest version. Clear your browser cache to see the effect in your courses.
