Cursor jumps to end of text line after 1 letter.

When creating a lesson or section in Rise, if you want to make a change in any text (spelling, word choice, etc.) the cursor jumps to the end of the line after typing one letter. This is only on the page where you add a new lesson or section. Just create a title for a lesson and then try to change a word in the middle. Really frustrating and time consuming. There was a Rise product update announcement on March 26, 2025, that is like what I'm describing but not quite. "Fixed: The cursor would unexpectedly jump to the beginning of the text entry window when entering code or a URL."

Also, this is almost identical to a post about 3 years ago, but I don't know where they were having the problem. There was no solution listed. Here's the link Cursor randomly jumping back while typing | Articulate - Community

Example video attached.

Thanks, Jon

  • Hi JonMon

Sorry to hear you've run into this setback, editing Lesson titles in Rise 360!

I was able to reproduce the same issue on my end, across multiple supported browsers. I've logged this behavior as a bug in Rise 360, and included your voice in the report. We'll be sure to update you as soon as a fix is in place!

In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest opening the Lesson first, then making text edits to the Lesson title from within the Lesson itself.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!

Hello Steven, Thanks to the team for fixing this. I was sharing this fix with some co-workers today and one mentioned they have the same problem but in the Accordian Tab block. He thought it was his computer messing up, but I was able to duplicate it. I included a video for this one as well. Seems to be a bug that moves around.... Thanks, Jon

      • Hi JonMon!

You're welcome. Thank you for following up!

I can confirm the behavior you shared is currently logged as an open bug in Rise 360. This bug causes:

        • The cursor jumps to the end of the line of text, when making edits to the heading on Accordion Blocks.

I've linked this discussion to the bug report, so we can notify you as soon as a fix becomes available. In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest clicking into the Blocks' Content settings and making your edits there.

Please let me know if you need anything else!
