Difficulty finding a layer....
I'm editing a slide in storyline that I did not create but I can't find one of layers. It's not on slide layers, nor on states. On the slide it appears behind other information, and it's almost like ...

It could be a Master Slide and/or a layer on a Master Slide.
You can access them via the top Menu Bar under Slide Master.
If there are a ton of masters take a look at this video linked below, it explains how to find out if a master is being used and which master it is. There are other ways to do this, but I don't have access to SL at the moment so I can't offer a step by step.
