Do a search on the SharePoint site for *.story and do the same on the Linux server.
If you find the files locate the newest ones use sort by date.
Then you need to select the correct .story file that will require you to first watch the story.html then compare the content you file from your search.
If your lucky you might find what you need.

Hi Kevin,
Thanks so much for your intervention, I do not have access into
Linux server yet(still waiting for that), guess I am just on panic mode as
its my first time working on code edition. - OlakunleLamilisCommunity Member
Hi Kevin,
The .story file is neither in the server or sharepoint, when I viewed
the source code, it directed me to the sharepoint folder, and all I have
are the rendered files: .jpg & PNG, .xml, .swf, .html files, flash movies.Do you have any ideas as to how I can use the rendered files to start over
again? The challenge is that I must try as hard as I can to make the output
on sharepoint be exactly the same.Thanks.

Without the .story files you will be looking at a complete reconstruction.
I would continue to search for the .story files within your Intranet Network.
Search all shared drives, attempt to locate the training department within your organization.
It is starting to look like reaching out to the former employee would be in order.
Good luck.

Hi Nina,
What is the source of the HTML file you are trying to display on
sharepoint? SharePoint is basically drag and drop and generates its own
html code.
Hi Donna,
In case Steve is no long subscribed you can also message him using the "contact me" button on his profile page to see if he's able to share these steps with you.

Hi, all.
I see people haven't published to this thread in about a year. I'm working with Storyline 360 and SharePoint O365.
- I have published several Storyline 360 projects to SharePoint O365. I can view and interact with the Storyline projects if I begin with the .swf URL, but only in IE (not Google Chrome) and only on a computer with Windows operating system.
- I cannot get the story_html5.html or the story.html to play in any browser. It just prompts me to save the files.
- The story_html5.html file that is on my C:// drive from the Storyline Output plays just fine.
- I used notepad to convert the story.html file to story.aspx. No joy.
- All of the files are checked in and the folder hierarchy is the same as the storyline output.
- One other issue, I inserted Embed Code from a YouTube video into one of the Storyline slides, but the video does not display on the screen when I start with the .swf URL in IE.
I want to be able to publish and view from the story.aspx file so that people using Apple devices can view and interact with the projects.
Given these known issues, does anyone have a recommendation to help me? Thanks.

Hi Tricia,
I have used two different alternatives to what you're discussing. The first is just uploading SCORM to an actual LMS, but I assume that's not viable since you're attempting to use Sharepoint. The second is creating a website through AWS S3. It's free assuming the file size is small enough and very user friendly. I have not been able to track activity like you can in an LMS but if you just want to share it via the web S3 can work. You could even put a dummy file in Sharepoint that points to the external web link if you wanted.
Regarding the YouTube video, I typically just download the content from YouTube assuming it's not proprietary and you're not using it for financial gain. Uploading a video to sharepoint that people can instantly access is fairly straight forward if you've got the mp4. So if it wasn't too large of a file size you could insert the video instead of embedding a link.
Sorry if these don't apply to your situation. Also, I now see that this is 4 years old :) Hopefully it helps someone.

I would store the storyline files outside of the SharePoint server.
This would be a general location where you store your homepage for your external website. Then provide a link in Storyline to display the content.
Good luck with your project.

Kevin,
Thanks for your reply.
I think I'll give OneDrive a try.
Best,
