One way you can do this is with multiple question banks. It can be a little tricky, but I have done so recently for a module with multiple question banks. I created a Result slide for each bank. These are all set as Knowledge Checks and live in a separate scene together. I am not displaying these. I am just using these to generate the necessary variables.
I create an additional Result Slide that is tracking all of the questions. This one is set as the Final Exam and appears in the course flow.
I then insert the variables as needed onto this Result slide to show the performance of each section, as well as the total passing score, etc.
You want to be careful going back and forth between these results slides, since this is not an out-of-the-box solution, you will want to check that the Results slide for the Final has not deselected the Question Bank in the individual Results.
There may be some additional approaches out there, but this one can work.
