distribute horizontally not working
Is the distribute horizontally command working for everyone else? I'm trying to spread 18 arrows out evenly but when I click it it aligns all of them to the left...

is it because you have the option ticked ‘align to slide’ - if you deselect that it should align the objects selected

Thank you Elizabeth, this is a great video explanation of how distribution generally works (with shapes)....this is how I have usually accomplished the mission.
However, after engaging in a live chat, and submitting a video of my issue, we learned that this feature is not available for arrows... they are currently working on resolving the issue.
In the mean-time, for anyone else that may be experiencing this issue, my solution was to create the arrows in powerpoint, distribute them appropriately and then copy-n-paste them in to storyline. Unfortunately that means any animation can only be applied to the group of arrows, but it works for now.
Hi Georgina, I don't see this option at all in SL360. Can you provide any insight here?

If you have multiple objects selected, you might only see the alignment icons. Here's a 10-second clip of where to find the alignment options in Storyline 360.

My ribbon looks different - under arrange, I do not see those options when I've selected multiple objects? My software is up to date.

You will see the checkbox within the Align options:

Not sure when, but its' been awhile now, that I can't get lines to Distribute Horizontally. Up to date on software, and lines are set to Align Selected Objects. They will Distribute Vertically, but not horizontally. It's annoying.

Can you share a .story file or a screen recording of what happens with your project when you click the alignment button?
With the recent update, it's actually working again. I'll be sure to record it if it stops working again. It's been a strange on and off bug for awhile now.
It started doing the distribute bug again. Its a strange bug. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But once it breaks, it seems like it'll no longer work in the file (even with restarting Storyline). Here's a recording:
