distribute horizontally not working
Is the distribute horizontally command working for everyone else? I'm trying to spread 18 arrows out evenly but when I click it it aligns all of them to the left...

Hi, Kirby.
Thank you for sharing the screen recording!
I went ahead and opened a support case on your behalf with our engineers. You should hear from our team soon via e-mail.

Hi, Paul.
Kirby's case helped us connect the issue to a bug reported where Line and arrow shapes drawn from right to left or bottom to top do not distribute vertically.
I've connected this discussion to the bug report, and I'll be sure to come back to update you when I have some news.
In the meantime, the current workaround is :
- Flip the line vertically if drawn from bottom to top, or horizontally if drawn from right to left.
Let me know if you have additional questions.

Three years later and this issue is still in the software.

Hi, Nora.
Thank you for reaching out!
This is still an open issue with our team. We'll update this discussion when we have any news to share!
Did you try the workaround listed in my previous post?
- Flip the line vertically if drawn from bottom to top, or horizontally if drawn from right to left.
Let me know if that works for you!

Hi,
Same problem. I tried to distribute horizontally two circles on a slide and the circles do not even move.

If you select align to selected objects before you choose distribute horizontally, the system divides the space between them equally. So you don't expect them to move. You need at least three objects to have two spaces, so there are places to divide the available space. If you select align to slide first, the objects will be spaced evenly across the slide even if there are only two.

Hi Walt, thank you! the "align to slide" is in the home tab not in the drawing tools tab! That is why I could not find it! thanks again
