Does REAL CONTENT -say- how real? - "show us its math"?
This has already been brought up somewhere, right? Just need the link to the articles, cuz I can't be the first to ask this...right?
I'm not knocking all the 'real content" courses available via Rise, I also haven't seen anything that says "here's how we make those" "here's how we vet the rises real courses we put out?" "industry SMEs?"
And um, you know you don't teach something like "problem-solving" when you MUST also have domain-knowledge you are trying to solve the problem in. I mean, right?
Aha! I *knew* I wasn't the first person to wonder about this, et voila! (chefs kiss)
I'll be interested in seeing how your "21 Century Skills" are dealt with (like how you can't teach "problem-solving" in a vacuum, it must include the domain-specific knowledge as it relates to a very wide variety of domain-specific context).
(And hopefully what I just said isn't terribly wrong or controversial?) I think I'm okay. Although would love to know otherwise too.))
