Down state remains active after drop on target

Hi There,

I am working on a small project and found something that is not working as i expected.

  • I've created a shape and added a "down" state.
  • When clicking this shape, it all works as it should ("down" state is visible while mouse is down on shape).
  • But when i add another shape - and drag the first shape on the second shape (with a trigger to allow drag), the "down" state remains active, even after i release the mouse button (and move the mouse away).
  • By clicking the first shape again, the state "down" deactivates.

Shouldn't the down state deactivate after i drop it on the second shape and release the mouse button?

      Hi CasperLippens!

Sorry to hear that you've also encountered this setback!

I can confirm we have this behavior logged as a bug in Storyline 360. This bug causes the State of a draggable object to remain stuck in a Down State, after dropping it on a target. I've included your voice in the bug report so we can notify you as soon as a fix becomes available.

As a workaround we suggest adding an additional Trigger. This Trigger will allow you to change the drag item's State to your preferred State, after it's dropped on a target:

      Action: Change state of
      Object: [draggable object]
      State: to Visited or Normal
When: when the user drops the object on any of the targets.
      Object: [draggable object]
      Targets: [Target Object1] [Target Object2]

Thank you for your patience. I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!
