Drag and drop activity item not returning to start point if dropped outside correct drop target

Are there any updates on this yet? This is massively inconvenient for learners. Currently they only have one opportunity to answer the question. If the item "bounces back" if dropped on the incorrect target, it gives away the answer. Not ideal...
