Drag and drop activity item not returning to start point if dropped outside correct drop target

Hi there, 

I'm having an issue with a drag and drop activity, you can see it here: https://360.articulate.com/review/content/af97f48d-c482-4ff2-89fb-e2b284e6661f/review

When the item is dropped to the incorrect drop target it is not returning the item to the starting point. Even thought I have "Return item to start point if dropped outside: a correct drop target" ticked. Any advice on working this out?

    Thanks for following up on this. Our product team has already lined up a fix for this bug. Though I cannot provide an ETA, we'll update this discussion once it is available.

  • Having same issue. This is a HUGE problem. Please fix ASAP.
    I reverted to an earlier  build (April 30, 2024 - 3.87.32265.0) and that seems to have fixed the issue.

    Hello, we are having the same issue with the latest update ! Reverting to the update of april worked for us too.

      Hello VasilikiGiannak,

      I'm sorry to hear that you ran into this issue. We don't have any new updates to share but feel free to open a case with our support team here if you'd like to explore other workarounds or request instructions on how you can downgrade to Storyline 360 Update 87. We'll let everyone here know as soon as a fix is available.

  • Are there any updates on this yet?  This is massively inconvenient for learners.  Currently they only have one opportunity to answer the question.  If the item "bounces back" if dropped on the incorrect target, it gives away the answer.  Not ideal...

    I am also having an issue with this bug. I have sent to support, hopefully they can fix as very inconvenient.
