Drop down menu for country list with scroll bar

Hi, I am creating a drop-down list for the countries of the world. As the list is very long, is it possible to list down all the countries in a fixed height box with scroll bar?

Hi Eric, Steven,

I hope this finds you both well. I have been busy with my other projects.

I have downloaded the Storyline project file you shared with me. I had a question regarding the functionality: is it possible to enable users to select countries from the dropdown menu?

I'm glad to hear you've been keeping busy! Thanks for reaching back out in this thread when you had the chance. I'm happy to help! 

I want to confirm that the Scrolling Panel in Eric's file does not have the functionality for learners to click on the text for each country.

  • I'd like to share a related discussion where folks are discussing and sharing sample files for a text entry dropdown! Perhaps JeffForrer's file will provide some inspiration for the design of your project.

    Hi Luciana,

    Thank you very much for your help. It is working for me. However, it will take a long time to complete the whole list as every single country needs to be in a separate textbox and each textbox has it's own triggers. I am just wondering if there is any automation to make the process faster?
