eLearning Degree???
Hey everyone,
Out of curiosity what did everyone go to college for? It seems like there is no clear path to a degree in eLearning. I mostly fell into this career path and plan on going back to school in the fall. But now I have the question of what I should be majoring in. This will be my AA and I know most eLearning professionals have a BA. I will be attending a Community college so my options are not unlimited. But what should my goals be if I like this field and want to stay in it. Any advice in this area is greatly appreciated.

This is an interesting question. As far as I have experienced, eLearning designers are a very mixed group of people including everything from HR and administrative roles, to media designers, programmers, teachers, etc.
I studied Media Design and can highly recommend it, because you learn all the tools that you could possibly need for eLearning production (depending on the courses that might include audio recording, filming, programming, picture editing, photography, 2D and 3D design basics, etc.)
