Elements on Slide Master layouts do not appear or are not editable on slides
Placeholder text elements are not editable. Decorative elements (shapes) do not appear if I also have a placeholder picture element ( I want to be able to add a custom background)

See the slide layouts with the image placeholders. If I add an image then the placeholder covers up any of the other elements 9page numbers, blue box, etc) even though the placeholder is stacked BEHIND these elements in the layout
