Export Closed Captions for Translation

Hello!

I have a project with multiple scenes and slides. Each slide contains audio files. At the moment, I have to add and sync CC using a very intricate variable and trigger scheme, to be able to export them for translation. Is there a way to be able to use the built-in CCs and get them exported for translations in bulk? I saw a couple of old posts around the topic, but hoping there are some updates I missed. Thank you!

  • Storyline has a built in export option for closed captions.

I'm not sure if that would assist you. Once you have the file you can then send it to what ever kicks off your translation workflow

That's true, but this means exporting it slide by slide, doing the translations, and then importing slide by slide. Which is extremely time-consuming, especially for bigger projects. I was hoping for a quicker way, similar to the export for translation function we have for the slides.

  • Open the media library and you can export each one from there.

Thor Melachor does have a paid for tool in the windows store that will export them all in one go.
