Export Source File for Rise
Hello!
I have been using Rise for years...like a lot. I have had my own Articulate subscriptions but some of the companies I worked for would provide one for me (saving me $$$) well a few weeks ago ALL of my Rise links (and I had A LOT) in Review stopped working. Imagine my surprise as I was sending out my portfolio as a freelancer, a recruiter told me my links were broken...enter into the realm of SHEER PANIC.
I contacted Articulate and they said sorry but they are gone. Help me to understand how I paid for the subscription, created a product, and now it is gone?!? I understand Articulate needs space on their servers BUT I have no way to download the Rise courses that are MY intellectual property. Years of work GONE without a notice NOTHING!
Here is my question: Is there anything I can do moving forward to protect all of the work I do? With the cost of subscriptions only going up it's challenging for freelancers to pay for a subscription you may not need to pay for if the company provides it.
Hi Shani,
First off, I'm really sorry if we weren't able to recover your data anymore.
But if you need to protect your work after your subscription ends, the best way is to export it to Web. You may then upload them to a web server to be viewed online. If you don't have a web server, there are a couple of free ones suggested in the article I shared above to get you started.
