Exporting a Storyline file to PowerPoint
Is there any way to convert or export a Storyline 2 story into PowerPoint 2010?
Hi Jane! There is not a way to convert/export Storyline to Powerpoint.
You could utilize screenshots/images or perhaps a web object if you have Presenter.

Is there any way to do this with Storyline 360?
Hi Camille! Are you trying to convert Storyline slides into PowerPoint slides? While Storyline 360 doesn't have a feature like that, if you can tell me more about what you're trying to achieve, there might be another way to go about it!

I'm trying to do this as well. My goal is to take my elearning Storyline
course and make it into a powerpoint presentation so it can be used by an instructor in a classroom.

What's the verdict? I would like to convert a file to powerpoint as well.
Hi Rebecca and Travis,
As Alyssa mentioned we don't have a feature in Storyline to convert it to a Powerpoint.
There are a few other options that may work for presentation needs such as:
- Publish to Web, and set each slide to advance when the presenter clicks "Next"
- Publish to Video (Storyline 360 only) and that way the presenter could play/pause the video as they take learners through it.
- Publish to Word, you could share that document with learners to have as a physical or electronic handout. Once you've published to Word, you can also easily save/print to PDF.
Hope that helps, and we'll keep you posted if the import of Storyline to Powerpoint becomes a feature.

We need to produce elearning (in SL) but then also have courses in Powerpoint as well so it is an editable document for clients who want to use it as classroom training. So unfortunately, those options don't work for us.

Just thought but would it work to create it in PowerPoint first and them import it in to SL360?
Hi Tracy,
Importing from Powerpoint into Storyline can be done, follow the steps here.
The reverse is not available right now, due to the interactive nature of Storyline.
We'll let folks know if that changes!

Hi Has this changed because I am in the same situation. The client wants the eLearning and also the editable ppt slides.

Yes. But we presently have a lot of SL courses are finished and now have to make powerpoint instructor-led courses from those.

Um, yes Ashley, that is what I was suggesting they do. Thanks!!
👍
I wasn't sure if you were asking or suggesting, so figured it was worth sharing the link.
