Hello everyone!
Happy to share that we've just released a new update for Storyline 360!
In Update 123, we've included essential fixes and new features. We've released an enhancement for:
- Export all your project’s closed captions in a single step.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help.

Thank you for this! Too bad updating to the latest version of storyline blows up my closed caption solution. Sadly, I can't take advantage of this exciting feature until I either come up with a new translation solution or y'all fix the bug that messes up my audio files 😆 hopefully someday I can get there!

That is why I have the Articulate rule. Never update a version if I am in the middle of a project I do not want to reconstruct. Each new version breaks something in the previous version.
It really is fascinating what the test team misses every update.- LucianaPiazza7 hours agoStaff
Hi allennation-602,
Thanks for sharing your perspective. I'd like to learn more about your experience so we can better understand the impact.
Can you tell us which updates have caused problems for you, and what kinds of issues you've encountered after upgrading? Are there particular workflows or project types where you see this happen most often?
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Feedback like this helps us identify patterns and better understand where customers are encountering friction.

Hello StephanieFri615,
Thanks for sharing this. It's great to hear you're excited about the new caption export feature, even though it sounds like you're currently blocked from using it.
From what you described, it sounds like updating to the latest version of Storyline disrupts your closed-caption translation workflow by affecting your audio files.
- Could you tell us a little more about your current caption translation process?
- What happens to your existing audio files after updating Storyline?
- Does this impact all courses you're working on with translated audio or just this one?
We'd be happy to take a closer look at your setup in this thread or privately in a support case. Understanding what's preventing you from adopting new features helps us improve the experience for everyone.
