Extra pauses in AI Voice over
Hi :-)
So i am working on a training and using AI voice over.
Is there any way you can like add an additional pause in a text. For example using tags like <p> for an extra 3 second pause?

I'm using this feature in Rise and would like to add a pause to the middle of an AI-generated AI file in V3. However, no tricks I'm trying (extra periods, em dash, etc.) are working. I've read you could use an SSML tag in previous versions (<break time="1.5s" />), but not in V3. Is there any way to manually add a pause in V3 without splitting the audio?
The reason I'm exploring this is because some of our end users are asking for the content to be read to them. So, I'm trying to figure out how to have an audible version of the content with a "pause here" prompt to suggest they review/complete an interactive element before listening to the remaining audio.
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you! :)

Hi again, tested V3 (Beta)....
The generated VO skipped some text and also changed the text...😬
Have you had the same issue?

I cannot say that I have had that issue before. I recommend retrying, and if it continues, sending in a case to support -

Hi all,
Thanks for super quick respons and tip :-)
Great that we can add tags direct to the text 👍I just upgraded StoryLine and got the option V3 (beta). Will try this out.

I have found adding in an extra period can help create a small gap. It will not give you that extra 3 second pause but depending on the voice used, it will create one that is about one second longer.

Great question: I recorded a quick PEEK video that I think might help.
