Feedback on Quizzes

Hi there,

I'm hoping someone may be able to shed some light on customising feedback for a quiz I've created.  I have created a Review Quiz button for those who have failed to achieve 80% so they can look back at the questions they got right, and those they got wrong - they can then Retry Quiz, this all works perfectly.  However, if someone passes the quiz with 80% I'd like to show them the correct answers to the ones they got wrong.  So I tick the options to do this on the Success layer on the Results slide.  Unfortunately this trigger seems to be connected to the Fail layer trigger and changes it there too.  Can these triggers be separated somehow so I can achieve what I'm asking for?  How does anyone else cope with this?

Any help really appreciated as this is driving me mad.

Thanks in advance

Sarah

  • Hi Sarah,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The trigger wizard options for "Reviewing results" get applied to all feedback layers. There isn't a way to separate the behavior for the Passed and Failed layers so I'll let the community chime in with their recommendations. Someone might have some experience solving a design requirement similar to this one.

Hi Jose, thank you for responding to my question.  I really can't believe though that this is not something people are commonly looking to achieve.  How else are we able to show users the right answers to questions they may have got wrong when they've passed, without showing the right answers to those that didn't pass?  To me this is such a simple and common sense request.
