Files differences when publish to Web
Hi
when I publish from SL360 I store the content in a folder then in directory called Moodle- the url is:
https://misc.wsc.ac.uk/moodle/car/story_html5.html
With car being the name of the Sl folder which contains the e learning.
Problem now is that when I publish new files I get an error -404 file or directory not found. On investigation the new folder contains a lot less content so and this is my question what do I need to be able to "see" the new folder. For ease I have enclosed the screen shots which show the difference, the oldSl content works.
Apologies but not under html etc so maybe a very rookie error
many thanks
Marc
Hi Marc,
Thanks for reaching out!
Moodle is an LMS, and in the image file 'new_sl_file_content.PNG', it shows that this specific course was only published for web distribution, indicated by the absence of any LMS related files. Try republishing your course in LMS format and reupload the course to Moodle to see if this helps!

Thanks for your reply but moodle is just the name of the server space it is not our Moodle it could be called Elearnignserver it is just a location not our LMS
Thanks for the additional information. If you're willing to share your published output here or through a support case, I can upload them to test web server so we can verify if the issue is related to the published output of your course, or if it the issue is specific to your hosting environment.

This file -working- was an old file that is constantly updated and works within our publishing space.
The faulty file is brand new creation that like others will not work within our publishing space - i need to understand why.
many thanks

All of the outputs from storyline changed a while ago, have you tried linking to the story.html file? The story_html5.html was removed from the output files.
