Free form question with no correct answer
Hi
I want to put free form quiz questions into a RISE e-learning. However, I want any answer to be correct ie no specified correct answer.
Anyone know how to do this?
Cheers
Kathy

I would like a free response without any answers. I just want people to respond and record it for my view. They can move on after they submit the answer. Is this a possibility? If I would have to take 3rd party, does it mean I have to create separate 'surveys' for each question I would like to ask?
Hi Min!
Thanks for reaching out!
We're still tracking interest in the feature request for Free Response Quiz Questions in Rise 360. I've included you in the feature report and will provide updates if it makes it onto our Feature Roadmap.
To your second question, can you share a few more details on the 3rd party tool and how it'll be used alongside your lesson? Also, which type of platform would be used to distribute the lesson to your learners?
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I have been looking for a few different solutions in rise, I come on here and see a ton of people asking for these features for years and years and years, and none of them ever seem to get added to the program... Some are pretty simple asks, like this one... Why is that? Rise would be a thousand times better if you added those features that seem wanted by many people...

There is a dire need for Free Response Quiz Questions in Rise.
Most people won't get on the forum because they don't know you're tracking the need. Please add this feature, it would be most helpful to most of us.
Thanks!

Stating that an open-ended reflection type box would be EXTREMELY helpful in Rise.
Currently, I have a Storyline block that is truly 1 text entry box. Then I put a continue button divider block, change the button text to "submit" and then a paragraph block with the feedback below.

Chiming in to echo this need. Looks like i will be embedding MS Form for now (PS the MS Form provided iframe code is rejected but I can just use this approach <iframe src="FORM URL HERE"></iframe>).
But this will not allow me to require completion of this block to continue, etc so native function of no wrong answer and also allowing OPEN TEXT as a response type, would really be appreciated.

Kelly I made a custom Theme Component to allow free form text entry and it gets stored in SCORM. Here's how it works-

Let me know if you'd like to test it out, I can send my demo course if anyone wants to test in their LMS, so far it does work in SCORM Cloud.

Amazing as always, Phil!! Id be interested to test this out! Id also be curious to see how it would behave when published for the web! I would need to coordinate with my IT folks but run Brightspace LMS presently and currently exploring Webhosting my RISE content.
