Globally change Notes font in Storyline?
Is there a way to change the global setting to update the font/size on all the notes of all the slides?
Hello all!
If you're still subscribed to this discussion, I wanted to share that the feature mentioned has been released! In Storyline 360 (Build 3.85.31840.0), you can now instantly update the formatting of all slide notes in your project.
From here, all you need to do is update Storyline 360 in your Articulate 360 desktop app!
If you run into any issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Support team in a support case.

sorry, I don't know... I was just being catty because the amount of development that went into 360 = SL2 is the red-headed stepchild
Shucks. Just bought 360 and thought maybe you were alluding that it was part of the 360 features. :)

It's not on the roadmap yet, but the more we hear from users the more information that gives us. You can always share your with us through a feature request or here in the forums. In case you're wondering, here's how we manage all of the ideas we receive!
This is probably still not possible in Storyline 2 right?

We don't yet have a setting in Storyline 2 or Storyline 360 for changing the notes font across your entire project. Thanks for checking in, and our team is always keeping an eye on discussions like this as we figure out what new features to add to Storyline.
Interesting discussion here. I would agree. Being able to change the Notes font for an entire project would be so helpful, particularly when you copy/paste content into the lesson. It trips me up sometimes. I hoped that editing the font on the master slide would do it, but, alas, no. UGH!
Not sure Jelle and Les if you noticed, but this discussion (and enhancement request) started 3 years ago and there has never been an enhancement... nor any indication that one might be forthcoming. Based on that, while Ashley very nicely chimed in - letting us know that Articulate is aware and says "We don't YET have a setting..." I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
I hear ya Nancy and I did notice. That's why I added my 2¢.
Maybe if enough community members chime in, it would move this closer to the top of their list.

I'm really sorry to read we've let you down, Nancy.
To be clear, our team does read, evaluate and track all feature requests shared here in ELH and submitted in the feature request form. Here's a little insight into what it takes to make a request go live.
I know there hasn't been an enhancement to include the global notes setting, but we have implemented a number of updates based on feedback and even a switch of our notes formatting in Storyline 2. With the shift to Articulate 360 as a subscription service, we've continued to listen to customer feedback and use that to help drive our roadmap. I'd like to share just a two specific Storyline examples of how we've done that since the release of Articulate 360:
- Doug and Jada asked us for Tables in Storyline 360, and we added them.
- William, Janet, Christopher, and Amanda told us they needed a Closed Captions Editor in Storyline. Now, there is one!
Those are just a couple, I could keep going but there is even more to come.
Will Articulate always do a perfect job of acting on customer feedback? We sure are working hard at it, and we're growing and improving all the time. We hope you'll forgive any missteps along the way!
