Glossary feature
Is there a pre-built glossary feature in Rise? If not, have have others built a glossary when needed?

Hi Joe, there isn't a glossary option in Rise but you could make one using Storyline and use the Storyline Block in Rise to include it.

This roll-over feature is very useful and necessary. It is easy in Storyline with hover and layers. I hope this would be in Rise soon.

Another vote for a glossary-type function within Rise 360. A number of clients have already requested this feature.
It would be helpful to be able to pull up a block of text, expanding on a key term or topic, rather than having to navigate to the explanation using buttons (clunky). - LouisaJames-56aCommunity Member
Another vote for a glossary in Rise.

Me too! I tried perverting the process block and that kind of worked except for the impossible to remove numbering - tool tips (hover or tap to reveal) and a glossary block would be amazing!

If you have Studio 360, there is a glossary "widget" in Engage.

Using a Storyline Block might be useful for a Glossary, but if the course is set to restricted then the Glossary Lesson section wont be available unless they get to it? Can you add a lesson (which would be needed to make it available throughout the course and not just in one lesson) that is exempt from the restricted setting?
