Glossary in Rise 360
Has anyone found a way to create a glossary in Rise 360 that is easily and readily available for learners, as needed? This can be done in Storyline 360 by including it as a resource but I haven't figured out a workaround for Rise.
Any assistance is appreciated!!

The fact that storyline has this but rise doesn't boggles my mind.

I have used a storyline block to add a glossary. If published to teams folder in review 360 it can be shared across multiple courses.

Any resource glossary option yet? I can't believe this post has been up for 5 years and still nothing. Has there been any new developments? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks!
Hi JessicaVelez-45!
Thanks for checking in on this!
I don't have any updates to provide, as our development team prioritizes other features. I've included your voice in the request! We'll be sure to notify you if this enhancement makes it to our product roadmap.

Just here to +1 to the glossary option (especially as a hover) to be added to the Articulate Roadmap.
Hello MeganBorel,
Thanks for adding your voice to the request for a glossary feature, especially as a hover option! I’ve shared your feedback with our product team so they’re aware of the interest in this functionality.

I think customers would really love to get insight into how features are prioritised - it consistently seems to be that totally new shiny things that aren't being asked for are prioritised over and above incredibly basic things that customers are screaming for (for 5,6 7,years!). Ignoring the basics is a fundamental error in customer service!

Its possible! Keep in mind Rise exports standard website files. This example shows a modification to my course that loads a simple glossary html file. Users can access via the global nav at top, from anywhere in the course.

How did you do this?

That's weird my previous response is missing. Am I being moderated? Anyway, I posted this recently in a challenge Rise notes utility | Articulate - Community
Which btw is nearly impossible to find or navigate to on this website without a direct link.

I too am moving a Moodle course with a great built-in glossary to Rise 360. I've looked at the different workarounds, but the only one that seems workable in our case is to host a dedicated glossary and make each use of a term in the Rise course link directly to the corresponding external glossary entry in a new tab. (I don't need hover functionality and see how it could introduce problems with accessibility or responsiveness.) It would be great if I could do this inside Rise.
Hi jrceloni,
Thanks for sharing this. Rise doesn’t currently have a built-in glossary feature, so your approach of hosting an external glossary and linking to specific entries is a common workaround for now. I can see why having a native glossary inside Rise would make things much smoother, especially when migrating content from platforms like Moodle.
I’ve shared your suggestion with our product team so they can consider it as they explore ways to make reference materials easier to access in Rise.
