Going full screen
Another newbie question. I noticed in a lot of your showcase examples that they don't
really go full screen. Can Storyline adapt itself to go full screen and then back to limited
screen? Is there a 100% versus a 600 pixels kind of thing?
Thanks!

Sorry about this. I missed the message. I've attached an updated version with a single icon for toggle.

I'd like to add my voice to those requesting that Storyline include a feature that lets me publish a course without the player appearing. Even without the menu on the left, the top and bottom parts of the player take up a lot of screen real estate. I'd gladly create my own Next and Prev buttons if it meant that the actual content of the course could fill the screen.

Hi, everyone!!
Steve,Does the widget allows me to go fullscren mode, but keeping storyline current size?
I mean... my SL is 900 x 550px... and i want it to remain that size on fullscren, practically just want to remove the browser window and fill space around with the default html background image or fill color, so student can keep focused.
Thanks dude!! - SteveFlowersCommunity Member
With a minor change to the FLA, expanding to fullscreen with a no scale should work. Changing this line:
stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.SHOW_ALL;
- to -
stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;
Should get it. See the attached.

Steve, Thanks for the swf file. That did exactly what i was looking for. Can you attach the flash source file for creating the fullscreen swf. I want to modify the look of the button. Or else, maybe just the method (action script code?) you used to make this. that would be really helpful to me.
Thanks!
Daniel Any luck ( or more properly Skill) in modifying the swf file?I'm not well versed in the programming side but would love to learn how to modify that Icon even if only in its position on the slide (from bottom left to upper right). Can a trigger be added directly to the slide to launch the swf and create the same effect without the use of the specific icon provided? Any guidance or insight would be MOST appreciated!Cheers

Hello Superhero, Steve Flowers!
I have a screen that has fill in the blank questions.
I want to apply this fullscreen button to the slide, but when I do the fill in the blanks don't work.
It seems the coordinates of the fill in the blanks are different.
Do you have any suggestions?

hi, this is great little trick!
However, I have a found a significant problem (I've check it on IE and FireFox) that when in 'fullscreen' view I can't seem to type into TextEntry boxes; the cursor flashes but I type and nothing appears.
The moment I ESC into normal view I'm then able to type into TextEntry boxes.
I've design some really interactive forms but they look great fullscreen but aren't usable in the smaller resolution.
Any suggestions...
Pete
