Help: Need to adjust hyperlinks on already published files
Here's the rub. I work for an organization that contracts out a lot of the work. We have a full finished course that is ready to launch in 48 hours. Except that a set of website references that a portion of the course is built around are now broken due to the website changing a portion of its domain name.
We don't have time to go back to the developer and request more changes be made. Its a bureaucratic nightmare. How do I adjust the links so that they go through. I had thought that if I navigated to the html5>data>js>paths.js file and adjusted the links there it might work?
I've made the change to the file, but it takes at least 24 hours for our internal server to refresh with the changes. I really need to know before the course goes live for class. Can anyone help?

Add the changed files to a new course or ScormCloud or any other LMS to check whether all works.

storyline is working without a webserver* - start for testing story.html local
* if your admin has not prohibited it in general by group policy

Thank you! That did let me test and it did not work. It changed the physical text on the screen, but the hyperlink is still incorrect when you click on it.

Do share your zipped Scorm or HTML, then someone can help find and fix it ;-)

Okay. I had a thought after I replied this morning and I think I've got it. First off, thank you again for the suggestions to test locally with story.html. I was too focused on getting it to work on server.
I ended up searching for my links inside of the entire js folder. It gave me back a folder with a random string name. Inside of there I found the goto line and was able to correct it. It worked locally. I have uploaded to the server and will find out in 24 hours if the change takes affect. Thanks for sharing an update, Nich. Our community is very helpful! ✨
Feel free to keep us posted on your findings in this thread. Fingers crossed for success with your server!

Hey. Thanks again for everyone's help. It took the server and extra day and a half to update the links, but it worked! Going to be keeping that one in the back pocket. We've got a couple of other courses with outdated links that can save us a lot of time and money on.
