Help wiith an interactive flashcard
I'm a beginning instructional design student (so also a Storyline newbie, the course I am in uses Storyline 3 if that is relevant to any suggestions I may receive.) I'm creating a short learning module and I have a flashcard type feature that is not functioning properly.
There are times when a learner could click on already selected flashcards and they completely disappear after being flipped again. I'm not sure why because I don't believe I have any hidden states. The issue is in Slide 1.3 of the project. Thanks!
The swivel is based on entrance and exit animations. Thus, eventually the flipped card on that layer gets to the end and initiates the exit animation. That's why the card disappears.
If you turn off the exit animation, that will keep it from disappearing.

Hi, I'm also a bit baffled by how my flashcards behave aka disappear once flipped and removed from the slide via hotspots (to uncover the remainder of flashcards as I've stacked them). All have Normal, Selected and DropCorrect states + motion paths. There is no entrance or exit animation.
Whenever I complete flipping through all flashcards and then revisit the slide, it shows up empty and there is no way I can go through the flashcards again.
How can I prevent this? Thanks in advance!
Hi Tess,
Thanks for reaching out!
Have you tried setting the revisit behavior of your slide to 'Reset to initial state' so that when you revisit your slide, the flashcards in the slide will be reset to their default positions.
Let me know if this works for you!
