For the first item, if you're planning on embedding this Storyline 360 project in a Rise 360 course and placing a continue block right after it to control the learner's progress, I can confirm that this interaction will work as long as you have the continue block set to "Complete block directly above." 

Here's a quick video demonstrating the interaction between the embedded block and the Continue block, and here's a link to the course I used for testing. 

For the second item, the triggers will work as long as your learners click on the actual video highlighted below in blue.

Note that the video control bar where the pause/play buttons for the video are located is not part of the actual video, so clicking on any of the icons here will not cause the trigger to fire.
