Hidden Audio in My Storyline File
This morning, I tried adding some Text to Speech to my Storyline file, just as a test. Rather than adding an audio file to the Timeline as usual, it just disappeared. This would be fine, except I think the audio file is still there, just hidden somehow. I need it removed because I'm planning to use it as a Storyline block in a Rise course, and I don't want the play button to come up; I want the Storyline file to show immediately.
Any advice on how to locate and delete the hidden audio?

You are correct. The audio is there. The reason you cannot see it is that you added to the hover state of your button. If the edit state panel was open when you added your TTS, that could happen.
Edit states, select over, then you can select the speak icon and press delete
