How Can I Hide Related YouTube Videos in Articulate Rise?
Does anyone know how to hide related videos that pop up at the end of a YouTube video? The workaround "rel=0" doesn't work as of September 2018.
I find it degrades the learning experience if folks see links to cat videos and the like after they've watched something "professional". Don't get me wrong; I love cat videos.
Thanks!

Hi there,
It sounds like you may need to configure those settings in YouTube before you grab the embed link. Unfortunately, I'm not sure exactly how their embed settings work so I won't be able to give you any pointers there. Hopefully someone in the community will know how to help you out!

Hi J B
found this on the web - haven't tested it but give it a try.
- Under the video you want to post to your website, you will select “Share” > then “Embed.” ...
- Click the bar that says “Show More” to let you see some additional options. ...
- Deselect the box underneath that that says “Show suggested videos when the video finishes.”

Youtube doesn't let you do what Wendy suggests above anymore. You can try adding ?rel=0 immediately after the video id number in the url in the embed link.

Rel=0 to stop related videos went away in September 2018. You can read about it here: https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parameters
According to YouTube it's an essential part of their business model so they won't likely change it.

yes, but it at least limits related videos to the *same channel* which could satisfactorily keep random "unprofessional" videos from appearing as asked.

Hi All! I am looking to solve the same issue now - has there been any improvement on this for Rise 360 now? A fix to remove suggested videos and ads on YouTube embeds?

Hi Hattie,
This is not a Rise issue, but entirely a YouTube problem.
