How can I record screencast audio if my only inputs are microphone and external file?
OK so not sure how this will help. I recorded 10 seconds of me playing a slide in preview with audio. the audio from storyline is coming out the speakers at max volume but can't hear anything. Then 5 second in I say test test and picks it up no problem.
Maybe this is a windows setting I should be looking for. Storyline has access to microphone and it's logging Replay using it.
How could something so simple not work - I must be missing something obvious :-/

An alternative method of recording your screen is to use Storyline 360's screen recording feature. If you're willing to record your screencasts in Storyline 360 instead, here's a guide on how to record system sounds.
You can then publish the Storyline 360 course to video afterward.
