How can we make Rise localization scalable?

As a global SaaS company, we must provide our customers with rapidly changing content in multiple languages. Our help center and video distribution platforms already support this at scale. Business departments also demand the localization of e-learning modules. However, with a cost of $185-$500 per translation in Rise (😱😱😱) and AI growing ability to replace authoring tools, our management is pushing to cancel our Rise subscription altogether 😢.

How do you overcome these challenges? Is this feature planned to become better aligned with business needs and support scalability?

  • I haven't seen a per-course number before. Do you all pay for translations when and as you need them, or are your numbers derived from dividing the license cost by an estimated output or something?

Speaking just for where I work, Rise is a boon on top of its localization abilities. Updates are easy, the voices seem high-quality, and it's easy for multiple designers to standardize and coordinate on projects. What exactly prevents Rise from scaling for you?
