How Do Connected Packages Handle Progress After Course Updates?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me understand how Connected Packages work in Rise 360 when updates are made to a course after a learner has already started it.

For example, let's say I have an eight-lesson course. A learner completes six lessons and then leaves the course, planning to return later to finish the final two lessons. Before they come back, I make a small update to Lesson 3.

When the learner returns and completes the remaining two lessons:

• Will the course still register as complete?
• Or will Lesson 3 be considered incomplete because it was updated after the learner originally viewed it?
• Would the learner need to revisit Lesson 3 for their progress to reach 100% again?

The reason I'm asking is that we've had a few cases where learners appear to have completed a course, but completion hasn't been passed back to our LMS. I'm trying to determine whether course updates made during a learner's journey could be contributing to the issue.

Has anyone experienced this or knows how Connected Packages handle learner progress after course updates?
