How do I import questions into my rise course?

I am dying.

I have to convert 40 courses to SCORM, with each course having 50 quiz questions.  Is there a way to do this without copying each question and the 3-5 options individually?  I have the questions in an excel file...

  • Hi, Patricia!

Thanks for reaching out. I see that you’ve reached out to our Support Engineers and are working with my teammate, Lejan. You’re in great hands! We’ll continue the conversation in your support case.

Currently, you can manually add individual questions to Rise 360. I'd like to share a workaround here in case someone else in the community is facing a similar issue!

    1. First, you can import questions from an Excel spreadsheet or text file in Storyline 360
    2. Next, you can use Storyline blocks to embed that Storyline course in Rise 360

    I hope this helps!

      Hi Kelly,

I'm facing a similar situation as Patricia. I would prefer not to have to use a Storyline block in Rise for my quiz. Is there a workaround in development?

      Thanks!

Hello, I have the same question as I need to create 480 questions.

  • This has to be one of the biggest roadblocks to creating quizzes in Rise. Surely this is something that is being actively worked on.

Hi, any update on this or ways to import MCQs into Rise, without going through storyline?

  • +1 from me, is there a feature request on the road map that I can add my voice to?

      Hi SelmaDorrest262,

I went ahead and added your voice to the feature request report we already have open for this discussion. We'll let everyone subscribed to this thread know when this feature becomes available. In the meantime, check out our product roadmap to see which features are currently in the works!
