How to autoplay Rise audio
There is no autoplay for the audio in Rise. You could potentially have multiple audio files showing on the screen at one time (or have loaded below the portion of the screen the learner is looking at) and if there was autoplay, they would overlap. That said, most modern web browsers do not allow for autoplay of audio for accessibility/user experience purposes.

Hi Elizabeth,
What update can you provide regarding adding the capability of audio autoplay being added to the Rise roadmap?I've noticed the capability in some other authoring tools, as well as Storyline, but it's still unavailable within Rise.
Any insight you can provide is greatly appreciated.

I don't work for Articulate so I have no update to provide you. :)
But one thing I am always curious about as a fellow user is how people expect this to work. An entire Rise lesson loads at one time -- what if there were multiple audio tracks in it? How would that work? I also wonder if, due to its vertical scrolling nature, learners expect Rise to work more like websites than they expect them to work like Storyline courses. Personally I hate when websites have audio that auto-plays (since I tend to have many tabs open at a time!) but maybe I am in the minority.

Hi Elizabeth,
I apologize for misinterpreting your role.I would expect the lesson audio to begin when the applicable element or scene is displayed on the learner's screen. If there is any conflict, such as multiple audio clips within one section, then give the content author the ability to designate the order the audio plays (i.e. #1, #2, #3).
The separator/continue button can also be used to help manage the audio trigerring.
As far as accommodating learners who do not want to listen to audio, other platforms offer the ability to mute the Audio or adjust the settings to prevent the audio from playing. This option typically appears at the onset or launch of the course, and sometimes appears within the settings of the course.
