How to eliminate the masteryscore element from imsmanifest.xml?

I know this is an ancient topic, but amazingly to me it's an issue that has yet to be fixed on the software side. When we revise and republish older content developed in Presenter (despite using the new 360 version of Presenter now), we still have to manually remove the masteryscore code from the XML document before intake to our LMS despite the fact the course completion is set to # of slides viewed and not by score. Why is Presenter still inserting this unnecessary code that requires manual removal when a scoring requirement is not selected in the publishing settings?
