imsmanifest.xml file issues in SCORM 1.2 export
I am trying to export SCORM 1.2 from Storyline 360 for the first time to upload into TalentLMS.
The exported folder is not zipped, which is an additional step I can perform. However, the imsmanifest.xml file created by Storyline 360 is missing its extension. When I try to upload the zipped folder to TalentLMS, I get a "This is not a valid SCORM file" message.
I have tried renaming the file to add the .xml to it but that did not help.
I'm including a screenshot of the contents of the exported folder if that is helpful.
Please advise.

better to use the Storyline zip function but if you forget always zip the contents and not the folder

Maybe this could help:
https://help.talentlms.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014657733-What-to-do-when-you-get-a-This-is-not-a-valid-SCORM-file-error-message
Also, in File Explorer under View, in the Show/hide group, select the File name extensions check box. I am sure the imsmanifest extension will show. - LauraWinzen-a7fCommunity Member
Hi Nedim - Changing that setting in File Explorer seems to have resolved it. Thank you!! I never would have thought of that.

You are welcome, Laura. Glad it worked.

That wouldn't resolve the issue though just show you the extension, the issue I think is you zipped the folder and not the contents.

What I suspect happened is that Laura initially noticed the manifest file had no extension (imsmanifest). Upon renaming it to imsmanifest.xml, it inadvertently resulted in imsmanifest.xml.xml, rendering it invalid.

Possible, i read she zipped it and uploaded and got the invalid message before she renamed.

I tried it both ways.
