How to keep the sharpness of a video, when importing it into a Rise Video Block ?
Hi folks! We have a new, helpful tip for maintaining high resolution video quality in your lessons:
If you'd like a video to keep its specific file format and not undergo compression, you can opt-out of image optimization on a case-by-case basis. Just add
_NOPROCESS_
to the name of your video file. It'll upload and display exactly as you saved it.* Keep in mind, using this method bypasses transcoding and compression, so learners may encounter issues with playback across different devices. File size limits still apply.

Hello Lea,
I had read these recommendations, before reporting this issue.
I understand, that my original video conforms to these recommendations.
I have just submitted a support case,
to which I have attached the original video and the resulting one.
Thank you for your help,
XL
Hi Xavier,
We put our videos on Vimeo because:
- Videos are not processed by Rise
- We can easily replace videos without doing a new course export
- The SCORM file is much smaller because the video files are not part of the Zip file

We are having similar issues and our videos are also embedded in an external site (Wistia) and yet we are seeing the blurry videos and/or blurry first 4 seconds. It doesn't happen if we test with YouTube. Have you encountered this with VIMEO?
