How to Place an Image over the screenshare
Hi.
The most common thing in the world is to insert an image over an existing screenshare so that the audio keeps going but the audience sees the image for a few seconds. This makes for a much more interesting and less predictable video but I cannot figure out a way to do this. In other words, I would like for a 3 second period to be talking about something, show the image, and then have the screenshare and if possible webcam, return after the image without stopping the audio. It seems impossible from what I can tell.
Hi Mike,
Thanks for reaching out!
Images in Replay 360 are only used as transitional devices.
If you would like to add images to your video while it is playing, and without being restricted on location and size, we recommend using Storyline 360 instead. Here's how you can do this:
- Insert your screenshare as a video in Storyline 360
- Use the timeline to identify where exactly to place your images, as well as to set their duration on the slide (how long they will be visible on the screen)
- Add additional triggers to control other elements such as audio, and to add creativity to the slide
