How to stop progression till after a certain amount of time

Does any one know how to make it impossible to move to the next slide until a certain amount of time has passed?

  • The easiest method is to set the Menu Options to Restricted Navigation.

That will keep the Next disabled until a slide's timeline ends. You could set the timeline to whatever length you want. This feature also automatically keeps the Next button enabled if the user revisits the slide.

Otherwise, you can use a trigger to disable the Next button when the timeline starts, and another to enable it when the timeline ends. Or, if it's an interactive slide, enable it after the interaction is complete.
