How to Transition within Replay

Hi there!

I've seen articles/discussions from years ago about how you can drag one video clip closer to the previous clip to create a smooth transition. I'm not able to replicate this while editing videos and I am wondering if this is no longer a feature? What is the best way to get a smooth transition from one video to the next?

    I know how to make the transition - it does not always work.  I do the action the same each time, but sometimes it works and other times it don't.  Amy I the only one?    

    Thanks for the vide - I did not know about transitions between tracks.
