how to use single copy of a sound file for multiple buttons
Hello.
I want to use the same short sound for 50ish buttons but don't want to create 50 copies of the audio file. The same question was asked 7 years ago (https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/using-the-same-sound-effect-repeatedly).
Has that function been added to SL since then?

If you are using the same audio file, it is really on in the media library one time. Are you worried about space or the amount of audio files or automation of a process? Copying and pasting the button may help with the process.
Add it to your slide master, set a trigger to play when a numeric variable changes whenever you want to play to audio add a trigger to add one to the variable.
