Illustrated characters "talking"
Hello all.
I figured out a way to make illustrated characters "talk" or at least move their mouths to emulate talking. I had the idea of how to do it for a long time, but I hadn't created a file to test it the way I imagined it.
I attached the file if someone wants to take a look at it. Maybe you had already figured it out, but just in case some of you still don't know how to do it; I'm sharing this file.
Any other ideas?

Great job, Elisa -- your file is neat, and thanks for sharing it! Hopefully, others who have tried to accomplish the same thing can chime in with their ideas, as well! :)

Mind Blown! I have been working with Articulate for about 6 months and I totally love being able to learn new things from this site and all of the great designers! Thank you so much for sharing!

Hi thanks for posting this! Unfortunately, I'm not sure I understand how to get the character to start talking?

Hi, Tamanna.
Since this is an older discussion, Elisa might not be subscribed, but you're welcome to contact them directly through their profile by clicking on their name and selecting Contact Me.
I took a quick look at the .story file, and my understanding is that Elisa used rectangles that appear at different points in the timeline to trigger expression changes. You can also do this by using the trigger "When the timeline reaches".
Take a look below:
I hope this helps!
