Image Crop Issues
Generally the crop tool is very poor in behaviour. Moving the image within the crop frame is not smooth and it doesn't snap to the frame, making it very difficult not to cut of parts of the image on...

Thank you for sharing each of those screenshots with us! We haven't logged this as a bug, but I've tested this in Storyline 360 (Build 3.55.25954.0) and noticing the black outline as well. I've created a quick 3-minute tutorial explaining the steps I've taken and a workaround.
The workaround is to have the image cover the bottom part of the slide and slightly below the outside of the slide stage. I'll keep you updated in this discussion on the progress of this bug fix.
