Images on slides distorted

I just finished my final revision of this module for internal review, and suddenly the slides have issues that make the images appear as though there is a transparency layer over them, however there is no state, shape, setting or anything I can see that was added to cause this.

Has anyone experienced this before?

  • That looks like what happens when a layer with a semi-transparent background is shown over the base. But it's hard to tell without seeing the .story file.

I suggest you upload a copy of the file with only that slide. That will make it easier for someone to troubleshoot.

It definitely looks like that is the case, which I checked for but there is no layer or object obscuring the opacity of the image.  I even re-imported the images, reset them and put them on the top of the timeline stack.  I submitted a case, and realizing it would take 24 hours to get  a response, I have now started remaking the slides to fix it, without issue.  I'd rather not spend time reworking and submit my project earlier than later though.

There are software quirks and gerps that may never be explained...

Remaking a slide often works (kind of like rebooting a computer).

      Best wishes!

Support just responded and there was a slide transparency background setting, but I don't know how it got there, I didn't have it on the slide and had gone through 2 rounds of reviews... then last night when I finished it, I saved and uploaded it and BAM several slides have it.  Very strange, happy it is fixed and I have a solution / answer.  Thanks for the support, Judy!
