Import Video File Size Limit?

There does appear to be a size limit. I've imported hundreds of mp4's and I can import mp4's all day long until they go over that ~1.3 gig size. I see lots of discussion "around" file size limits, but is there an actual answer to what is the file size limit to an mp4?
