Importing and Customizing .emf Characters no longer working

I used to be able to save the classic characters as .emf files and import them into ppt. Then I could ungroup them and customize them: colors, shapes, change their clothes, etc. This is an essential task for me in the course development that I'm working on. In the sciences, I need more customization than what the characters currently offer.

In the last month I noticed that I can no longer do this, and it's really frustrating. When you ungroup the characters, they now turn grey, get blotchy and they are completely fixed with zero ability to change anything! Luckily, I saved some select poses that I can work with but I'm very limited. I contacted Articulate Support who told me that they do not currently have this feature prioritized for repair.

So, I have a request:

1. Does anyone have some of the .emf files for the classic characters saved in several poses that I could have? Specifically any (or all) of these characters: Molly, Beatrice, Carmen, Gloria, Marissa?

2. If this is an issue for you, please complain to Articulate so they can resolve this issue ASAP.
