Importing multiple audio files
In Presenter 13 you could import multiple audio files by selecting the slides and uploading the audio files.
Is there any way to do this in Storyline 360? I have a training with over 200 slides and there has to be a better way to import audio than one slide at a time!
Hi Anne!
If you're using the same audio file on all slides, you could add that audio file to the Slide Master. Anything you add on the slide master will carry over to all of the slides using that slide master layout.
If you need to use a different audio file on each slide, you'll have to insert each file on a slide by slide basis.

Big flaw if there is no way to import audio like in Presenter where you can select all the slides and upload the audio and they are automatically loaded. I have trainings with over 200 slides; anyone at Articulate want to spend a couple of hours adding audio to the slides one-by-one???

I agree. I might just go back to using Presenter.
Hi Anne,
It sounds like you're in a pickle with the audio. Storyline and Presenter have a few different features, and audio is one of them. Within Storyline you'll need to add the audio to each slide or use a slide master as Alyssa mentioned. Here are some of the tips and differences to keep in mind, especially if you're importing in Powerpoint/Presenter content to Storyline.
A few folks who have wanted a "playlist" like you may be used to in Presenter have used the community ideas and methods shared here.

The previous user is NOT talking about a playlist. I just ran into the same thing. I edit in Audition and now I have to import slide by slide?!?!?! wow ... I also want the option that is in Presenter where you can import all of your audio segments at once. This has nothing to do with the playlist.
Hi Kari,
First, please accept my deepest sympathies for the losses you’ve suffered this year. It has been a challenging year for many of us, and I want to assure you, my thoughts are with you, and I’m here to help.
It looks like you were using Studio ‘09. Studio ‘09 publishes to a Flash-only format, without any HTML5 output options. I can see that the sales team provided you with an opportunity to make a one-time purchase of Storyline 3 vs. the subscription of Articulate 360 and that you were eligible for the discount upgrade pricing.
Given your extenuating circumstances, I’ve opened a support case on your behalf to work directly with our team on any audio issue you are having and any concerns about Storyline 3 and its features.
Articulate is a human-centered organization that cares deeply about both employees and customers and takes “doing what’s right” very seriously. This approach ensures that we understand each customer’s specific needs to invest in the right product.
I've shared these details with John, one of our Senior Technical Support Engineers. John is going to reach out to you directly so that we can make this right for you.
We wish you good health!

A trick that works for me when multiple audio files needed to be imported.
-Open up your Media Library in Storyline ( i use 360 )
-On the Audio tab import an audio
-When selecting your audio file in the filebrowser, with shift click you can select multiple audio files
-After all import you can add all to your slide or slides.- HattieWiley1Community Member
Yes. It will put it in the media library, but not directly on the right slides like Presenter does.

I feel your pain, Hattie! Having come from using Presenter (before Storyline even existed) it always drives me crazy having to insert the audio one file and slide at a time!
