Improve PDF Export from Rise

Hello Articulate team,

Just would like to know if you plan to improve the quality of PDF export from Rise ? If yes, when do plan to make it available ?

We have more and more requests from our customers to get our digital guide from Rise in PDF format. However, as of today, the PDF export is just not usable due to the outcome layout which is not well supported during the PDF publication.

    This has been a much-discussed issue going back at least 2 years. I'm sad that Articulate hasn't addressed this. I can't export to PDF without looking like an amateur - spacing issues, run-overs between pages - GIFs don't transfer - and more.

    I'm now facing reverting to Word or PowerPoint to author something because export is so awful..

    Hi, I have this concern too, here are a few oddities, as I open the pdf exports on Acrobat Pro on a newer iMac.

    1. Some pdfs export with all the content at a reduced size, while some courses do not. 
    2. Using Arial Bold in the module, shows super-compressed/tracked in the pdf rendering the text illegible almost
    3. Footnotes (a list) at the bottom of a lesson with all the same font size, exports with a random one of those list items at a reduced font size—odd
    4. Knowledge Assessment questions don't show the correct answer or any feedback (not necessarily a "wrong" part of the pdf export, but would be great to have the option)

    Overall, not horrible, but would be great to have a somewhat better output for pdfs, and even some pdf output options out of Rise.

      Hi Ryan, thanks for sharing your feedback on the PDF outputs of Rise courses. We continuously try to make Rise better and inputs from our customers help us determine the features we add to our roadmap. We'll definitely let you know here if we make changes that will help!

    Export to PDF definitely needs improvements. 

    I so asko about this topic also, and i had no ansewear about it.

    I can´t give my customers this huge PDF with all this run-overs betwen pages...

    Exporting to PDF doesn't provide a full picture of what is included in the RISE course.  Missing content for scrolling text, feedback to any knowledge check questions, matching activity doesn't render at all.  To meet our compliance needs, we need to manually update all the PDFs for a course to actually reflect the content provide. 

    Where is improving the PDF export quality on your road map?
